The Calendar Project

The Calendar Project is a project that is both functional and conceptual. For every month of the year 2024, I will hand-paint a new calendar page, right on the wall in the kitchen in which it serves to keep my life organized.

Each month’s page will be created within the last few days of the previous month, or the first few days of the current (if I’m running behind) and will respond to the feelings, climate, expectations, and moods that correspond to that month.

It is an exercise in consistency and dedication as much as it is a way to track the ways in which my visual art practice may change over the coming year.
